If you are looking to understand how the International Migration Centre – Karnataka can help you with guidance and information on overseas employment or have any other query related to overseas employment & international migration, you may call the IMC-K Helpline. You can also register with the IMC-K or visit the nearest IMC-K Migrant Information Centre (MIC) or Migrant Regional Centre (MRC) located in all the 30 districts of Karnataka.
Skilling Guidance
IMC-K’s MICs/MRCs continuously strive to provide counselling and guidance to the potential candidates on various skilling opportunities. Depending on the skill profile of the candidate, the MICs/MRCs will build a trajectory and migration pathway to either (a) match the profile with the available employment opportunities, or (b) suggest appropriate upskilling or re-skilling programmes to suit the demands of the foreign employers or make the candidate future prepared for potential opportunities. The MICs/MRCs will also link up and connect the potential migrants with various Training Partners/ Centres, ITIs and other training providers under various schemes, including the Chief Minister’s Kaushalya Karnataka Yojane (CMKKY).

Every individual resident of Karnataka, with a keenness to benefit from overseas employment opportunities, are encouraged to register with the IMC-K

*Passport is not mandatory to complete registration, but a must for securing overseas employment
Completed registrations will be verified and approved by the IMC-K post which you will be able to see and apply for available/suitable vacancies.
Visit/contact nearest MIC to know more. Centers will also assist you in registration, if required.
Beware of fake calls and messages. IMC-K or KSDC & KSUWSSB have no field staff who can come and visit you in person for any recruitment related activities. No FE is supposed to directly contact you till you complete your recruitment process through the IMC-K. If any such attempt happens we strongly encourage you to let us know immediately via phone or email.
Submission of the registration form does not guarantee overseas employment. The IMC-K’s MIC/MRC/MSC only facilitates the process of recruitment if your credentials are selected by the Foreign Employer (FE).
Recruitment-related Services
The State Government-RAs, through the IMC-K’s district-based MICs/MRCs, provide various recruitment-related services. These include matching the skill profiles against the requirements of the foreign employers, verification of documents, facilitating the interview process and selection of candidates by the employers, trade testing, handholding the successful candidates with their recruitment process, attestation/apostille of the documents, visa & ticketing and other migration services. The services are provided through credible and accredited institutions with charges as per the Government norms.
Grievances

IMC-K’s MICs/MRCs will provide timely and prompt grievance redressal by liaising with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)’s eMigrate and MADAD portals and by direct coordination with the Indian Missions/Posts abroad, Protector of Emigrants (PoE) at Bengaluru and through other state-specific departments/agencies.

Pre-departure Orientation (PDO)
The International Migration Centre – Karnataka (IMC-K) is one of the PDOT Centres in India recognised by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to provide quality country-specific PDO for emigrants departing to the 18 notified countries, including the GCC countries. The PDO at the IMC-K PDOT Centre in Bengaluru is provided by Master Trainers certified by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The IMC-K PDOT Centre also counsels potential candidates on language and other soft skills that are required to enhance their chances of employability and further strengthen their readiness of the candidates.
Please contact your recruitment agent (RA) for booking a slot for PDO prior to your departure, even if you are not recruited by either KVTSDC or KSUWSSB. You can still avail the opportunity to obtain PDO by speaking to your RA with a request to book the slot with the IMC-K PDOT Centre at Bengaluru.
IMC-K also proposes to provide PDO through its Migrant Regional Centres (MRCs) located at Kalaburagi, Hubbali-Dharwad, Manguluru & Belagavi.
Foreign Employer
Registration
The IMC-K networks with various stakeholders involved in the recruitment of manpower from India, including other Recruitment Agencies, Project Exporters, Manpower Agencies, Foreign Employers and Foreign Recruitment Agencies.
IMC-K & the State Government- run RAs – KVTSDC and KSUWSSB (RAs-K) encourage Foreign Employers (FEs) from various countries looking to recruit from India to register with this Portal at the Login page. It would enable the RAs-K to coordinate with the registered FEs, understand their demand, provide skilled, trained and certified manpower from Karnataka and conduct the business recruitment as per the requirements of the FEs.
Foreign Employers (FEs) may register with the IMC-K to submit their vacancies. Their profile would require approval by the IMC-K.

Foreign Employers (FEs) registered with the IMC-K Portal and approved thereafter can submit vacancies for recruitment by KVTSDC & KSUWSSB- the RAs-K.

Management Information System
The information collected will be stored in the Management Information System (MIS) and is expected to assist the policy makers in taking appropriate decisions. The MIS is also expected to help matching the demand requirements of the Foreign Employers (FEs) with that of profiles of the candidates (potential migrants).

Recruitment through MIS
MIS is fully equipped to process your job application through different stages such as shortlisting, interview, ECR/ECNR process, etc. Our system will keep you updated on your process.
Return and Resettlement
Migrant completed existing work contact or returning after your migrant life can register with IMC-K for possible future opportunities. You can choose on looking for other overseas opportunities or resettlement at the time of registration.
Brows and Apply Vacancies
Vacancies from verified foreign employers will be listed. Vacancies will be visible to you as per your education/experience sector.
Grievance
Migrants recruited through IMC-K (KVTSDC/KSUWSSB) can register grievance on MIS. If the migrant is not available, someone else can submit the grievance on behalf oh the migrant.
You can walk in to the Migrant Information Centre (MIC) in your district to know more about IMC-K and how IMC-K can help you to secure the best overseas placement for you. MICs will also offer to assist you in getting registered on MIS.

Data Collection
Information provided by you may be utilized by IMC-K to facilitate overseas employment / fulfill the demands raised.
Privacy
MIS is enabled with automated Email and SMS Notifications/responses.
Registered candidates and foreign employers are expected to get automatic email and/or SMS notifications from the MIS.
